Turn your claude.ai data export into an estimated footprint — parsed in your browser.
No API key needed — claude.ai gives every account a data export.
Get your export
- On claude.ai, open Settings → Privacy → Export data.
- Anthropic emails you a download link. Download the ZIP.
- Go to centrail.org/greenai/import, pick Claude, and drop the ZIP in.
What happens to the file
The ZIP is read in your browser. We open only conversations.json and turn
it into daily token estimates. Your conversations never leave your machine —
only daily totals do.
One extra question
Claude exports don't say which model answered each message, so we ask which model you mostly use (Claude Fable 5, Opus, Sonnet, or Haiku) and apply it to the whole import. It's a documented assumption in the methodology.
Re-importing
A new import replaces the old one (exports contain full history). Remove your imported data any time from the dashboard section.
